Odette Morgan
Hi, my name is Odette & I am the Children's Centre network manager.
I have been in post here at Windhill for 2 years now, and have seen us grow from just the phase 2 to actually covering the whole locality with our new phase 3 centres that will be coming online soon.
I have been working in the field of early years for over 14 years now, and during that time, have witnessed a huge amount of progress, particularly in ways that we can now support families, our children' centre being a prime example of this.
When I am not at work, I enjoy many things including travelling, cookery, music, reading, keeping fit, & walking my Jack Russell. I am looking forward to working with & supporting all our exisiting & new families as we continue to expand.
Karen Buffham
Hi, I'm Karen Buffham and have lived and worked in Bishops Stortford all of my life.
I have two daughters who have now gone on to experience University, and I'm looking foward to the challenges that Childrens Centre Co-ordinator for Bishops Stortford North and Rural will bring!
I arrived here through a variety of avenues including Childrens Dental Nurse,Behaviour Therapist for Autistic Children,Early Years Educator in Nursery and Reception and more recently in post as a Community Nursery Nurse within Health Visiting.
I look forward to meeting and working with you and your families and providing a safe,welcoming and inclusive environment, with lots of opportunites through fun sessions for new experience's and to learn through play!!!
Jackie Hale
Hi. I’m Jackie Hale and I’ve worked at Windhill Children’s Centre since November 2008 as the Office Administrator.
I’m married and have two daughters Rebecca and Charlotte. Before my present role here at Windhill I spent 9 happy years working at Thorley Hill Primary School as a Teaching /Admin Assistant and then a great year at Elsenham Cof E Primary School in a similar role.
I also have banking and customer service experience having worked in a Building Society for many years. I really enjoy my job as I get to meet a lot of new people and no two days are the same.
Louisa Duke
Hello, my name is Louisa Duke and I started at Windhill in November 2008 as an Outreach Worker.
As a qualified nursery nurse I have worked in several day nurseries and also in Europe at activity centres with older children.
I am currently working towards a Foundation Degree in early Years I enjoy travelling, gardening, cooking and meeting new people Hope to see you very soon.
Lee Routledge
My name is Lee Routledge, I am one of the Children's Centre Co-ordinaotrs at Windhill .
I have been in post for six weeks now and I am currently in the process of visiting settings within the community to introduce myself. I have previously worked within educational settings where I gained a Foundation Degree in Early Years Child Development and a BA Honours in Education. I am currently undertaking the Early Years Professional Status. In September I am taking a course in Baby Massage so I am aiming to be very hands on!
As a member of the team at Windhill I have embarked on a very exciting journey which I am sure we will all be part of.
